- DC supply: The DM856 model reference specifies 20-80 VDC. Allow for supply fluctuations and motor back EMF; this is not a direct AC-mains input.
- Motor current: The maximum setting is 5.6 A peak (4.0 A RMS), not 5.6 A RMS. Match the motor phase-current rating and winding connection.
- Controller: Check pulse/direction or CW/CCW mode, signal level, microstep setting and wiring. Motor frame size alone does not establish compatibility.
