Will this launch cable suit my OTDR setup?
- Match both connections: check the OTDR port and the fiber link. SC/APC and SC/UPC use different connector polishes; confirm the required type at each end.
- Check fiber and length: match the fiber type. Required launch length depends on the instrument, pulse width and link under test; 500 m is not a universal fit for every setup.
- Launch or receive: a launch cable provides a reference before the first link connector. A separate receive (tail) cable is used beyond the far end to evaluate the last connector. This listing includes one assembly, not a pair.
